| The luxury factor of the Jeep Grand Cherokee is evident in this 07 Limited. It's a fine contender for the SUV-buyer who wants comfort features, style, and an ample amount of upscale amenities. Some of that gadgetry pertains to comfort, some to communications technology, some to performance, and some to efficiency. Under the hood is a 5.7-liter, 330-horsepower Hemi rated at 375 lb-ft of torque. This Jeep starts off with a leap and performance is exciting. Acceleration is assertive and the automatic transmission performs well on steep upgrades. Add the 4X4 capabilities to the Hemi motor, and this one eases through every forbidding off-road obstacle. It may sound like a real gas-chugger, but it isn't really. It features Multiple Displacement System, a technology that maximizes economy by shutting down half the cylinders in situations where running on half-power is sufficient. Inside, there is plenty of room for five. Seating is exceptionally comfortable and offers good support. There is a luxury look to the dashboard and gauges, plus every system is easy to operate and understand. This Jeep features an automatic temperature control that keeps the interior the same no matter what the outside temperature, and the heated seats are another great feature. Some important advances on this 2007 model are safety-related. In addition to multi-stage driver and passenger air bags with front and rear side-curtains, this Grand Cherokee features knee bolsters. But your chance of never getting to know those air bags is a good one, thanks to all of the systems in place to keep you from crashing. The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is one; It consists of traction control, brake assist, and Electronic Roll Mitigation. This system senses the need for braking and power reduction at each wheel and transfers the appropriate response where it is needed.
